Voorn Spray Roses is a Dutch specialist in premium spray roses. We grow for florists, wholesalers, wedding designers and event professionals. We love our craft. Our spray roses travel from Luttelgeest all across the world. This is a short introduction to get you up to speed.
Our family’s passion for roses began in 1986. Frank grew up among the roses and joined the family business in 2003, before starting his own nursery in 2006. Together with Jozina, he has continued to push the company forward through innovation. In 2017, Voorn made the strategic decision to focus exclusively on spray roses, cultivating varieties with exceptional quality, character and vase life.
Today, Voorn grows 34 different spray rose varieties at two locations in the Netherlands. At the year-round location, around half of the varieties are cultivated using traditional Dutch growing methods and sold under the name Voorn Spray Roses. At the second location, the other half is grown from May to November under the name Voorn Seasons.
Rhythm of the rose
Voorn Seasons follows the rhythm of nature as much as possible. The plants are pruned in winter and begin to grow again with the Dutch spring. Heating is kept to a minimum and is only used when necessary to protect the crop. Diseases and pests are controlled as much as possible through natural crop protection and biological pest control.

By allowing the roses to develop naturally, Voorn Seasons produces spray roses with strong stems, fresh foliage and generous blooms. It is a slower and sometimes more unpredictable way of growing, but one that reflects Voorn’s belief that the best roses come from patience, experience and respect for the plant.
Across both locations, Voorn combines craftsmanship, innovation and close collaboration with the floral chain. From breeders and wholesalers to florists and event professionals, Voorn believes that strong relationships help create better roses. We believe firmly that community and close connections will build a stronger future for the floral industry.
